Grounded in compassion, guided by advocacy, because birth shapes families for a lifetime.

Hi! I’m Bex...

I’m The Wimbledon Doula, a certified birth doula, passionate advocate and steady hand for parents stepping into the transformational journey of birth. I offer doula care for families across Central, South East, and South West London, with availability in the home counties including Surrey and Kent.

I specialise in supporting families welcoming their babies earthside through homebirth and hospital births, offering a grounded presence, evidence-based knowledge, and heartfelt encouragement every step of the way.

What drives me is a deep belief that every birthing person deserves to feel heard, seen and respected. My role isn’t to direct your birth – but to amplify your voice, advocate for your decisions, and hold space for your power to rise.

I’m here for you

I’ve had the honour of walking along side many families through pregnancy, labour and postpartum, witnessing, firsthand, how transformational and sacred these moments can be. I’m here to help you feel empowered and trust in your body and instincts.

When I’m not supporting families you can find me, enjoying a cuppa with a good book, out on adventures with my three children, or taking time out to practise yoga or martial arts.

I’m here for you. Every journey begins with the first step. Reach out to schedule a free 30-minute chemistry call - a gentle, informal conversation where you can share your story and ask any questions about how I can support you as your doula.

Bex really went above & beyond to understand us as a couple, our birth expectations, and also helped us work through our previous birth trauma.

Bex is a great cheerleader & supporter, I often felt lighter & happier after we spoke. I felt better equipped to advocate for myself and for the birth I wanted.

Alex's Birth Worker programme at The Original Birth Connection is incredibly thorough and nurturing. It is an extensive course, focusing on becoming an inclusive, trauma informed birth advocate, with continued mentoring to support and develop our practise. I completed & became fully certified May 2023.

Molly O'Brien's 'Biomechanics for birth' course at Optimal Birth focuses on the workings of the pelvis through labour, the physiology of birth, more effective diagnosis of mechanical labour dystocia, and teaches techniques to help create space for the baby to navigate the journey more easy.
