The moment we met Bex we felt at ease. Bex went above and beyond to understand us as a couple, our birth expectations and also helped us work through our previous birth and release any fears we held on to. Our baby ended up being breech at 37 weeks, and Bex gave us the confidence to believe that we could have a planned virginal breech birth - which we did with her support! She was absolutely amazing, and my husband was also really grateful to have her calming energy on the night of the birth. We loved our time with Bex and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone thinking about having a doula support them.

Bex has been the best doula we could have hoped for, supporting us through the whirlwind of pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. We were very nervous about the arrival of our first baby, but from the moment we first chatted with Bex we began to relax. With Bex's help we decided upon a home birth and worked hard, with her guidance, to prepare for it. Bex was a constant source of support, council and knowledge throughout our journey which allowed us the home birth experience we dreamed of. My birth experience left me feeling empowered and invincible; and has shaped the mum I have become. Bex has been so thoughtful, bringing us lovely home cooked meals and treats to nourish our family. Bex was an invaluable support throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. She really helped me find confidence and knowledge, and guided me through each step and decision. Bex was a champion of the home birth I wanted, and through a long labour was by my side every second. Bex offered support over and above - she went out of her way to find reputable local acupuncturists, suppliers of products I needed, and even cooked for us when we were. all exhausted. She has become a part of our little family. Bex, along with my husband, were the second voices that I relied on. I can’t recommend Bex highly enough.

Bex was a huge support and guide for me. Her experience, knowledge and care saw me through my pregnancy and helped to prepare me for a sudden change in my birth plan. I had been booked for a caesarean birth due to placenta praevia but due to changes at my 37 week appointment I was given one week to prepare for an induction due to other medical reasons. It was a huge shock and worry but Bex reassured me and prepared me for this change and as a result I had an extraordinary and empowering vaginal birth with just gas & air. I never thought this could be possible with an induction . I will always be grateful for Bex’s support and encouragement.

Bex was a calming presence for me, and a firm and direct support with the appropriate people at the right times, on my behalf. As 42 weeks approached, so much pressure mounted and overwhelmed me. Bex was consistently calm and went to great lengths to reassure me that my body knew what it was doing. My birth wasn’t the home birth I had planned, but with Bex’s support and encouragement I was left feeling powerful and in awe of my body’s capabilities.
